A potential remake
Years after the breakup of the Beatles in 1976, Paul McCartney pays an unexpected visit to John Lennon in New York City. Paul is successful and touring with his new band Wings, while John is in a retirement-like state living with Yoko Ono and his son Sean. John later tells Paul about Lorne Michaels' offer of $3000 to reunite the Beatles, and in the final part of the film the duo prepare to go but then eventually choose not to. This was the last time the two met in real life.
