Liz Price, a young science fanatic, is living the good life in her apartment with her roommate, Heather Mauser. However, her world turns upside down when her best friend, Amber moves in with her, followed by Heather's best friend, Kelsey Black, writer, Brittany Cole, a young man named Chris Hill, his best friend, Luke Walker, a DJ named Max Silvers, Amber's brother, Jimmy, his best friend, Ray Chandler, Liz's divorced mother, Debbie and Amber and Jimmy's widowed father, Steve. Together, they become roommates.
