Mei Lee has been enjoying life since she gained her red panda, and things are getting better this summer as Chen, Ming's brother who lives far from Toronto is coming over to spend a vacation at the Lee temple, but while there, he accidentally smashes Sun Yee's talisman, granting him a panda he can't switch back out of. Now, Mei must find a way to restore Uncle Chen, all while showing him just how fun being a red panda can be. NOTE: This was inspired by an official Turning Red book, in which this situation occurs to Mei's besties.
