The Trojan War was a war between Greece (the Argives, Mycenaean Greeks or Achaeans) and the City of Troy and its allies that happened around the year 1240 BC, in the 13th century BC, in the 12th century BC, or in a period between the 11th and 13th centuries BC. The Olympians took great interest in the war. Poseidon, Hera, and Athena aided the Greeks, while Aphrodite and Ares favored the Trojans. Zeus remained impartial.
