Flameline is Ironhide's altered clone created by Shockwave parting from a blood sample he got from Ironhide after he got wounded in a fight. Shockwave named her "Experiment 4026", and his goal was to make an unpredictable killing machine for the Decepticon ranks. Upon discovering Shockwave's plan, Ironhide went on a killing spree and broke the cloning tank with Flameline inside. When that happened, she was still a baby.
