Vincent K. McMahon took over ownership of the World Wide Wrestling Federation in 1980 when his father was ailing. He cut, cooked, and swindled his way to obtaining some of the biggest names in professional wrestling at a time when the product was about to boom. He brought Hulk Hogan over from a rival promotion and the two formed the World Wrestling Federation.
