Synopsis

When a high tech cyborg finds herself outside of the inner city walls, she learns that humanity isn’t just flesh and bone like people have told her. Being human is about experience, emotion, and change. Her mother was wrong about many things, including what it means to be alive. She was right about one thing though: life doesn’t last forever.

Description of Vera:

Vera might look exactly like Claudia but is the exact opposite in every other way. Claudia sticks to logic, while Vera focuses on intuition and feeling. She practices witchcraft and teaches the kids all of her favorite spells. While Claudia teaches them how to throw punches and take down people twice their size, Vera tells them to carry around a pouch of spices and a vial of their own blood to protect them. She often talks about how she can see the future, which is why she praises Darcy for living in the moment. She knows what's coming, and she knows she'll die trying to stop it. So living in the now is the best she can do for herself.
