angeloHello budy, spend weeks writing a new story for X-Men could you take a look and give your feedback on the story, cast and production be it negative or positive? https://www.mycast.io/stories/x-men-318

@angelo no worries. I took a look but couldn't see the story written anywhere, am I missing it? Not sure if you had a plot or general arc mapped out... In terms of casting, I'm not overly in agreement with many of them (will list the ones I like below), I can cast votes if you want me to? Specifically I don't get the current support for Esposito as Prof X - if anything I'd think he would be better as Magneto (Magneto was a Jew and the Holocaust drove much of his beliefs and actions, so as it's now impossible to use that as a motive for the character (they'd have to be 80 odds) casting Magneto as a person of colour makes it easier to apply a similar background through racial profiling, various atrocities of more modern times put about minorities. The other one I just plain don't get is Gibson for Wolverine... his CV does not fill me with confidence and looks wise he's closer to Sabretooth. For me. Think the problem I have with most of the castings is, if you take Ms Marvel as the blueprint, it looks as though Marvel will be introducing the X gene in youngsters, late teens-to-early-20s, so I suspect the cast you've gone with are predominantly too old.The other thing I'll say is it looks a little villain heavy - too many heavy hitters in one movie, but that might be me missing something as I can't see the plot anywhere. Hope that's not too disheartening feedback, meant to be constructive. I'll post the positives below shortly.

@angelo so going by the surnames, it looks as though Rogue and Gambit are married. That's an interesting angle that makes me wonder if your idea revolves around introducing these characters later in the MCU timeline, which negates some of my above feedback. Of all your castings I think Storm and Sinister are the two most on point. Mena Massoud and Vanessa Kirby are both really good shouts too, but I would probably cast them as other characters elsewhere personally. Oh and Joel Edgerton (my original choice for Ben Grimm). Anyway let me know if I'm overlooking the story you outlined and I'll double back and give it a read. Cheers
