November 2, 2009. Banished from Asgard for arrogance and pride, Thor lands in a remote New Mexico town stripped of his godhood. As he learns humility among mortals, an ancient Asgardian cult seeks to awaken a long-forgotten relic buried beneath the Earth. Caught between realms and robbed of his power, Thor must prove himself worthy—not of his throne, but of the people who now look to him for hope.
