Thor (2010)

As the realm of Asgard prepares for a new king, Thor Odinson stands on the brink of the throne, revered for his strength but blind to the consequences of his arrogance. His brother Loki, long overshadowed and consumed by jealousy, secretly resents Thor’s destined rule. When dark sorcery begins spreading across the Nine Realms, Thor is drawn to Midgard, where he encounters Jane Foster, a brilliant astrophysicist studying unusual cosmic phenomena connected to the disturbance. Through Jane, Thor gains a deeper understanding of humility, compassion, and the lives he is meant to protect. The true threat emerges when the Enchantress and her ruthless enforcer, the Executioner, manipulate Loki’s envy to destabilize Asgard and seize power for themselves. As brother is turned against brother, Thor is forced to confront the cost of leadership. In the final battle, Loki redeems himself by sacrificing his life to stop Enchantress’s plan, dying in Thor’s arms. The Executioner is defeated, but Enchantress escapes to Earth. Rejecting his coronation, Thor chooses duty over the throne, remaining on Midgard to pursue Enchantress
