Five former Presidents of the United States of America (Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush) were playing a charity golf game when they were unexpectedly struck by lightning. This caused them all to gain fantastical new superpowers. They decided to use their powers to fight crime and called themselves the X-Presidents.
