Rorschach (real name Walter Kovacs) was a violent and ruthless vigilante driven by moral absolutism. When superheroes were outlawed, he went undercover and continued illegally, where all others folded. He was killed by Doctor Manhattan in order to protect a terrible secret that could end the world, and his legacy lives on in the second Rorschach, Reggie Long.
