The Unknown Regions is a science fiction television series based on the Unknown Regions, a huge, undiscovered section of the Star Wars galaxy initially introduced in the old Expanded Universe. The show will investigate the enigmas and perils of the Unknown Regions, a region of space outside the Outer Rim that is home to weird and potent creatures as well as enigmatic technologies and prehistoric artifacts. The show is intended to follow a gang of explorers, adventurers, and smugglers as they cross the dangerous terrain of the Unknown Regions, confronting new threats and uncovering long-lost truths along the way.
