Charles Xavier and Max Eisenhardt have been at war for the future of human and mutantkind for decades. In that time, Xavier founded a school for young mutants and even trained a team, to covertly do good in the world. But when Max takes his ideals public with an attempt to kill humanity and establish mutants as the dominant species, the public turns against all mutants. Now Xavier must make a choice between going into hiding or protecting the humans who want him dead.
