The first entry in the Uncanny X-Men franchise. The story revolves around Charles Xavier bringing together a team of mutants to fight against the United States government's plans to launch mutant killing robots called the Sentinels. But their plans are countered by Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, who plan to take a more extremist approach.
