a story about Jim, a man living in the city of Heaven's Gate, who is chased by strange creatures called Kanty after the wind gets into his pores and makes music. Jim takes refuge in a cave, where he builds a stone replica of himself that produces music to distract the Kanty. He realizes that bigger stone replicas can create better music, and he builds a circle of giant statues known as Henge, which produces beautiful and harmonious music that the Kanty love.
