SpongeBob and Patrick discover a lost piece of an amulet hidden in a cave, they return it to the Bikini Bottom museum to reconnect the other piece when it opens a magical chariot ride to the Lost City of Atlantis ruled by King Neptune and his family, they also meet a third party of an unknown race who are believed to be good friends with Neptune but are actually hostile aliens planning to take over the sea! It's now up to SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton, and an old fan-favorite character Mystery to protect the city of Atlantis and the world!
