A Superhero Noir Story (minus the sexism and racism of the original comic)
Set during 1940 in Central City, we follow Denny Colt, a private investigator who has been fighting crime for the last few years. But after an encounter with a criminal known as The Octopus, Holt is murdered. However, the unthinkable happens… Denny Holt is resurrected. With the blessing of his old friend, police Commissioner Eustace Dolan, Colt becomes the superhero known as The Spirit.
