This movie is about the next generation of Skylanders as it retells the origin of Spyro about how he became a member of the Skylanders and how he left the Skylanders Academy eventually many years after Spyro’s absences he received a love letter from his friend Cynder saying that she misses him when Spyro returned to the Skylanders Academy Spyro and Cynder fell in love got married the two dragons also had a son named Samuel and later on they had a daughter named Luna who are the newest cadets of the Skylanders Academy where Kaossandra began to teach the siblings how to become the next generation of Skylanders she told the siblings that they would one day be destined for greatness everything was perfect until one night ago someone broke into the Skylanders Academy took the siblings and flew into the endless void which is now the homeworld of Strykore who had revived Dark Spyro and raised Samuel and Luna as his own which was kept as a terrible secret Strykore was plotting a revenge on the heroes for imprisoning him in the endless void he wanted to create a army of Skylands’s inhabitants by corrupting them with dark magic so Strykore can destroy the core of light and take Skylands for himself it is up to Samuel to figure what is going on in the Endless void and save his baby sister Luna from Strykore with the help of his best friend Flynn while Spyro Cynder and the rest of the Skylanders must travel to endless void in order to find Samuel and Luna
