The classic romantic comedy takes place in a small shop and follows the fate of its employees. But what happens when two of these employees, who can't stand each other in the real world, place an ad and fall in love through their letters? Of course, they have no idea about the other's true identity... Director Ernst Lubitsch set the entire narrative in Budapest and cast James Stewart in the lead role, for whom it was one of his other signature roles.
