Based off of the film from the 1970’s which was based off the tragic story of soulful 60’s rocker Janis Joplin, this rendition is set in the late 80’s where rock superstar Nikki “The Rose” Foster performs to sold-out venues everywhere. Behind the scenes it is another story as Nikki struggles with drug and alcohol addiction due to a deep-rooted trauma from her childhood.
