Spain, XVI century: Tulio and Miguel, two conmen, find a map for El Dorado, the wonderful city of gold. They two embark as stowaways on the ship of Hernan Cortes, the evil Conquistador general who wants also to reach and conquer El Dorado. Reached the city, Tulio and Miguel are mistaken as gods by its inhabitants. Will they exploit the situation? Or will romance and friendship survive? In addition, Tulio starts a lovely relationship with a local woman named Chel.
