Aaron’s estranged maternal uncle whom he’s never met, Tatiana’s brother, and the film’s villain. Driven into isolation by his own sister after her attack led to his human lover Eliza’s coma, he now vows revenge on her and tries to sacrifice a human soul in order to revive her. To this end, he murders Tatiana and later manipulates Aaron into helping him invade the land above, kidnaps Morgan and Erica, and achieves his goal of reviving Eliza as a mermaid, only to end up dead by her losing control of herself.
