Barrett, a man with crippling anxiety, works a typical sales job at a rapidly declining sales company. Needing a boost Barrett, along with his much more confident coworker Ross, is given a spot at a sales event to pitch their product for a lucrative payday. Faced with the highs and lows of a business trip Barrett slowly finds himself loosening up and making connections, until he's faced with a dilemma due to the horrific side effects of his product.
