LCpl. James Harding shows up in New Texas, and appears before O'Sullivan and claims they met very briefly in Afghanistan, where O'Sullivan's unit saved Harding's pinned down artillery guns. Harding proclaims himself somewhat of a demolitionist, and loves making things blow up. O'Sullivan makes him a bet, giving him 3 minutes in the saloon to make a bomb not using a bottle of liquor. In 110 seconds, Harding slaps together a small grenade using an empty tonic bottle, minced glass shards, and gunpowder from his own bullets.
