Set in war-torn Sengoku-era Japan, disgraced ronin Tetsuro discovers a plague wiping out villages, caused by an ancient clan of vampires led by the immortal Lord Kurokawa. Haunted by his past, Tetsuro teams up with Akemi, a healer, and a small band of survivors to confront the vampires in their decaying, labyrinthine mountain castle. As they battle supernatural horrors and face betrayal, Tetsuro learns of Kurokawa’s plan to use the chaos of Japan’s wars to dominate humanity. In a climactic duel, Tetsuro defeats Kurokawa but is mortally wounded. As the sun rises, the castle crumbles, and Tetsuro dies redeemed, his final breath witnessing the dawn—symbolizing his return to honor and the triumph of humanity over eternal darkness. The film explores themes of redemption, mortality, and the corrupting hunger for power.
