"Long ago, in a world made of blocks..."
In this animated adventure based on the smash-hit game, Minecrafters Steve and Alex, the "last" of their kind, embark on a journey to survive the perils of their world and defeat the Ender Dragon, but it comes with difficulties. Steve is hotheaded and street smart, and prefers to solve problems with a trusty weapon by his side, while Alex is a friendly but weak and cowardly spirit who's fascinated by the blocks around her and enjoys building. Eventually, the two learn to warm up to each other and manage to learn the value in each other's lifestyles. During their trek, a mysterious force, thought to be defeated centuries past, lurks above with a vengeance. Likely responsible for the current state of the world, the commanding and crafty force follows our heroes and formulates a plan to stop them, enshrouding the Minecraft world in an eternal state of darkness...
