Mark Chandler is a cunning and devious cream-colored leopard from the Backlands who enjoys hunting rare animals. While he has appeared in the episodes of the series before, Mark becomes the main antagonist of season 3 and makes a new goal, sneakily follow the Lion Guard to the Tree of Life so that he could feast on the rare animals. He gained allies along the way. When he does arrive at the Tree of Life, Mark and his allies are blown away by the Roar of the Elders.
