Long before Larry Talbot became the latest in a centuries-old curse, the first Werewolf was just a young boy named Christoph from the Swiss-Tyrolean Alps. As a newborn, a ravenous pack of wolves murdered his mother. A she-wolf took pity on the infant, and nurtured the babe until his father rescued him. As an adult, Christoph, a pure-hearted Catholic who always prays every night, transforms into a Werewolf during times of anger, stress, and grief. He tries running away to protect the people closest to him, but no matter where he goes, his curse always follows. He seeks a witch to control the curse, only to find out that her methods, in fact, unknowingly speed up the transformation. As Christoph tries using his curse for the greater good, he instead becomes a wanted man.
