Minor Gotham City villain Drury Walker struggles with depression and feelings of inadequacy, tired of being treated as joke by the Batfamily and even the other villains. However, when he gets a visit from the demon Neron, he's offered the chance to finally become the feared and respected threat he's always dreamed of, at the cost of losing his humanity.
