After a gamma experiment goes wrong, Dr. Bruce Banner attempts to recreate the gamma radiation, but a catastrophic accident turns him into the Hulk an uncontrollable force driven by rage. As Banner desperately searches for a cure with the help of Betty Ross and Rick Jones, General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross launches a relentless military campaign to capture him and becomes hunted by the military and a rising mastermind known as the Leader.
