Film takes place around the same time as Iron Man 2 and after. Bruce Banner is hiding away in the Canadian Rockies trying, hopelessly, to cure himself. He has flashbacks of his origins and the gamma bomb that created his condition. He also remembers causing much destruction as his alter, the Incredible Hulk. The US govt and General Ross manages to create their own version of the serum with help from an old acquaintance, who begins to wreak havoc around the world and blame it on Bruce. It calls itself the Abomination. But the government doesn't actually have control, a mysterious presence called The Leader behind the scenes does, and he has much larger and more sinister plans in mind. Bruce must build up the nerve to come out of hiding and accept who he is to protect the one person he loves and save his reputation, and somehow sage the world.
