What if The Green Mile was made 10 years earlier?
In 1935, Paul Edgecomb, the head guard of a prison, meets an inmate named John Coffey, a towering but mentally challenged African American man who is accused of murdering two little twin girls. His life changes though when he soon discovers that John has a very special gift.
