Idea for a movie based in the early 1970s about a 10 year old boy named Arbor who has lived in the forest since he was 2. He has been raised by a family of wolves since then. His father’s name is Akori, his mother’s name is Topagnga, and he has three wolf pup siblings—Odyssey, Oria, and Orpheus. Arbor believes the wolves are his family—he doesn’t remember his original family, or what his original name is. He speaks the same language as the animals in the forest, but he also speaks English, just not very good. He doesn’t know what species he is. But the animals have a problem—there are construction vehicles cutting down the trees. Until one day, he meets an 11 year old girl named Zoe who wandered into the forest to draw pictures of animals. Arbor sees her, and wonders why he looks like the same species as her. Zoe is curious about Arbor, as she had never seen a wild, feral boy before. Zoe’s father has a great relationship with Zoe, but he doesn’t listen to what she says because he is emotionally distant because he misses his dead wife. Zoe’s father is the one who works for construction and is cutting down those trees. Arbor and Zoe work together to make it stop.
