This miniseries tells the story of when Jay Garrick was Young
Jay Garrick was a student at the University of Keystone City, where he worked as a laboratory assistant for his biology professor. One day, he stayed late in the lab to finish a job and, drowsily, accidentally dropped a vial containing a sample of a mysterious liquid known as heavy water. The vapors emitted from the liquid knocked out Jay and he spent hours breathing them out before being found by his teacher and taken to the hospital. After a brief recovery, he discovered that the vapors had activated his latent Meta-Gene and given him the superpower to run. at the speed of light. He decided to use his superpowers to fight crime and became the flash
