With the holiday season fast approaching, Barry finds himself wrapping up another year as a superhero alongside his family. His father decided to take a trip to settle some matters outside of Central City before Christmas, with the hero taking the opportunity to entertain himself after his last big showdown with The Rogues Gallery. However, the latest escape at Iron Heights Penitentiary had more ramifications than Flash could have imagined, as Gorilla Grodd himself finally escapes the premises, as part of his new plan. Now, the Speedster has no choice but to offer exactly what the primate craves: a collision course.
