When forensic scientist Barry Allen is struck by a chemical-filled bolt of lightning, he gains the ability to bend time by his mass, resulting in super-speed. Now, he must learn to control his powers, while dealing with a telekinetic gorilla and trying to solve the mysterious man dressed in yellow who destroyed his past.
