  • misterwolf Plot: Allison Lane and her expedition have reached the peak of Mount Hood. They now intend to go down into an abandoned neighborhood in the forest for a final showdown with Bigfoot. Victor Raymond reveals that he recalls going to that neighborhood before, and Allison compliments this as good news. However, they encounter enemy hunters who want to kill Bigfoot for food, and they engage in a firefight; the entire expedition is caught in the traps laid by the enemy hunters, of which one of them is revealed as Tommy Xavier, whose father Andy was killed by Raymond in the first film. Xavier chastises Raymond for killing his own friend, and brutally beats him.

  • misterwolf Allison, revealed to be the only one who did not enter the town during the fight, tries to ambush them, but is soon captured and hanged upside down. Xavier refuses to understand that his father betrayed Allison and the group, and continues beating on Raymond. Allison watches in horror as Xavier eventually murders Raymond by shooting him in his head; she vows to avenge him and angrily tells Xavier "I'll ---king kill you!" before being knocked out. She has a flashback of herself and David eating smores, and they share a joke about who is the better hunter. Allison replies "I think we're about equal". Allison is awoken by Will Carter, who freed himself and reveals that he overheard the enemy hunters talking about a little girl named "Zoey", to which Allison says that it is her daughter's name and deduces that the hunters may have kidnapped her and goes to rescue her.

  • misterwolf She kills Xavier's friend, Paul, who recognizes her as "Zoey's" mother, confirming that she is indeed the little girl they kidnapped. She reunites with Zoey and frees her before escaping with the rest of the expedition. Deducing that a sobbing Allison has just lost her friend and that David was killed several years ago by Bigfoot, Zoey comforts her mother. Warren Quinto spots Bigfoot himself and starts shooting him to hold him off, and the expedition manages to slip away. Allison sets up the camp and Warren prepares several traps, before Allison and Zoey enter their tent and fall asleep. Allison has another flashback of David, and this time, it involves Raymond, who teaches them how to properly track their prey. They successfully hunt their deer and gut them, before heading home to cook the venison over a fire. Allison wakes up to find that Zoey is still asleep, and leaves her to her rest.

  • misterwolf Xavier somehow manages to find them and attacks Allison; after a long fight, Allison spots Bigfoot and throws Xavier down to him. Bigfoot snaps his neck and kills him, thus giving Allison both time to escape with the expedition and vengeance for Raymond. Allison realizes that even though there is no honor in vengeance, David's soul will never truly be at peace, and reluctantly decides to kill Bigfoot alone. Hoping that Bigfoot can read, she writes in Xavier's blood on a stone "Find me in a neighborhood that will be set on fire". Allison's sisters-in-law, Ellie and Rachel, spot Bigfoot far away from Allison's message to him, and Allison sighs in relief as she plans to honor her own message. She tearfully says goodbye to Zoey, but promises that she will survive.

  • misterwolf Bigfoot spots Allison's message, and he agrees to it. The expedition deduces that the burning neighborhood Allison plans to fight the creature in is the same one where Raymond was killed, and they decide to camp near it so they can alert Allison of their location with a blinking light. Allison sets the abandoned neighborhood ablaze and grabs a crowbar before Bigfoot arrives; Allison tells him "I'm tired of running from you.... and now I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!". A violent fight erupts, while Zoey prepares to fire her concealed pistol (which Allison already knows about) at a gas can in case her mother almost loses. Allison is suddenly distracted by a flashback of David and is knocked down. Zoey fires at the gas can, which sets Bigfoot on fire, giving Allison the chance to stab Bigfoot through his heart, killing him. With Bigfoot finally dead and David's murder avenged, a heavily injured but surviving Allison sits against a tree and falls asleep. An hour later, she wakes up, and spots her expedition's blinking light, indicating that they are signaling her; she manages to get up on her feet and walk back to them.

  • misterwolf In the aftermath, Allison embraces Zoey and willingly takes her to her house. After a long walk, they make it home, and the expedition disbands. Allison and Zoey sit on the swing, and Allison herself teaches her daughter how to play a guitar. A flashback during the teaching occurs, where David is teaching Allison the same. She remarks that it is the best music she has ever heard; as the end credits roll, Allison and Zoey are discussing hunting lessons.
