Rewritten plotline with a new and improved cast of characters
It's six months after Steve Rogers gives his shield to Sam Wilson. Sam is not feeling too comfortable with taking on the mantle of Captain America and decides the best thing to do is to donate the shield to the Smithsonian. However he will soon find out that the government has chosen their own replacement for Captain America, John Walker. Sam, with the help of Bucky and Sharon must now fight to get back Captain America's shield and honor his legacy. Meanwhile, the US government not only makes John Walker the new Captain America, but also makes him the leader of a new 'superhero' team known as the Thunderbolts, who will become great enemies of Sam, Bucky, and Sharon. Sam also discovers that there was indeed a black Captain America named Isaiah Bradley who fought in the Korean War and also has a bad history with the government and Sam even goes on a little side quest to hunt down those who have mistreated Isaiah.
