Linius was a good friend of Wind Jackal, and they had ambitious plans to do away with the backstabbing and oppression in Sanctaphrax and Undertown. He was appointed the Most High Academe of Sanctaphrax, and agreed to take Quint on as his assistant - A decision Quint, who harboured dreams of following in his father's footsteps, was not pleased with. Linius is the father of Maris, who initially resents Quint's new role. As High Academe there were several attempts on Linius' life by Seftus Leprix, and Bagswill.
