Commissioner Gordon tells Batman and Robin a story about his youngest child, and how he was thrown off a bridge and nearly died at the hands of the Falcone crime family as a baby, only just saved by Bullock at the last minute. This resulted in the child growing up a disturbed and violent child. He then hands the duo a police file on "Jim Gordon Jr.", telling them he has escaped from Arkham Asylum.
