He and Finn have been best friends since Kindergarten, for those elementary school years they would go to each other's houses, go play at the park and had sleepovers sometimes, each of their parents enjoyed their companies. He becomes jealous at first when Finn begins going out with Kristen, not until he had a love interest of his own until she dumps him due to him being chubby, Finn suggests him to find a girl who only likes him for his personality not for how he weighs.
