Based on a true story. Ukraine, 1942: When war breaks out on the Eastern Front, history student and aspiring librarian Mila Pavilchenko enlists with the Soviet army and is handed a rifle. Soon after, news of Lady Death - the deadly Soviet sniper with 300 kills - travels and reaches First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, where an unsuspecting friendship forms between the two women.
