Synopsis

Title: "Crimson Contract"* Mai Shiraishi, a beautiful and fiercely bold 15-year-old girl, lives a quiet human life until her older sister Ayaka reveals a shocking truth: she once made a deal with the powerful Demon King Akira, trading her soul to gain success in business. Now, the price must be paid — and to save Ayaka, Mai is forced into a *paper marriage* with Akira. Though they share no love at first, their fates intertwine through ancient mysteries, emotional wounds, and a battle of hearts. Akira, though appearing 19, is a 900-year-old yōkai who once loved a yuki-onna named Ayumi. Elegant and graceful, Ayumi hides a frozen heart shattered by Akira’s past choices. Meanwhile, Yuki, a sly yet kind 500-year-old fox spirit, quietly falls for Mai’s fierce nature. As tension builds, malevolent forces emerge: Alex, a manipulative fallen celestial being, and Kaguya, a cruel sorceress of illusion, both want the power hidden within Mai.
