1986. Cold War in full swing, Reaganomics in motion, conflict with the USSR constantly escalating to the brink of another global war. Meanwhile, the middle-aged Bruce Wayne, retired from his life as Batman for ten years now, is deeply conflicted about whether to come back as the Caped Crusader, unable to look at Gotham succumbing to yet another threat - the notoriously brutal Mutant Gang. This, however, catches the attention of a still-active Superman, whom President Reagan himself entrusts with stopping Wayne once he gets out of line...
