The rise of crime in Gotham City , with the so-called "mutants" gang allied to Bruce Wayne 's unusual sense of justice, make the Batman emerge from the darkness of retirement and face the city's criminals. Batman is a man traumatized and tormented by his past, who uses intelligence and strength to do justice in a much more brutal and violent way compared to his previous activities, having as a limit the principle of never killing criminals.
