Synopsis

The legend of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight lives on in this animated successor. With the Batman gone, all of Gotham wonders who will protect their city. Former cop Richard Grayson, once known as John Blake, inherits all of the hero's resources so he may continue the legacy, as per the will of Bruce Wayne himself. However, others are beginning to stand up to Gotham’s underworld, including the wannabe Bat-Girl, the vengeful young assassin Robin, and the murderous vigilante called the Red Hood. Grayson must prove himself worthy of becoming Gotham’s new defender and uphold Batman's legacy before it is tarnished forever.

Description of Batman/Richard Grayson:

An orphan and ex-cop who adopted the name "John Blake" and was able to piece together Bruce Wayne's secret identity as Batman. Following the Dark Knight's apparent death, Grayson inherits all of Wayne's resources used in his crime-fighting endeavors in hopes of becoming Gotham's new protector.
