Six teenagers wake up in mysterious, colorful backrooms like building simply called "the building". They find that the building is inhabited by a strange "society" of people, with their own culture and laws, and with no hope of escaping reluctantly join the society, who, in turn, provide them with places to sleep, food, water, and "entertainment".
