The Brotherhood

For centuries, the Bourdeaux’s and the Ledet’s were, and still remain, two of the most prominent, respected and wealthy families known throughout Louisiana. The Bourdeaux’s lived in New Orleans not far from the French Quarter, while the Ledet’s lived in Baton Rouge off the Mississippi River. These two families, while being the most revered and looked up to in the state, both shared a secret. A dark one… They both descend from two powerful, ancient bloodlines of sorcière‘s. (French translation for witch). While one family uses their gifts for the betterment of the people, for good and to maintain the natural order of balance, the other use their gifts a little more recklessly… selfishly… dangerously. However, when a new, benevolent threat arises that not only threatens both families social and economic statuses, but also threatens to expose their shared deepest, darkest secret. Will they work together to keep their secret unbeknownst to the public and save their respective empires? Or will this new threat prove to be an adversary too much for the two families and will their internal and personal differences be their downfall?
