The Boys is an American author comic book series, written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Darick Robertson. It was originally published through Wildstorm before moving to Dynamite Entertainment. Norma Editorial publishes the translated Spanish edition and Panini Comics the Mexican edition. The series is set in a contemporary world where superheroes exist. However, most of the superheroes in the series' universe are corrupted by their celebrity status and often display reckless and contemptuous behavior towards normal people. For this reason, a non-superpowered CIA team, known informally as "The Boys", is tasked with monitoring and controlling (using intimidation, blackmail and violence) the superhero community.
